We were lucky to have TONS of fresh tomatoes in our garden this year and this fresh and flavorful salsa was the perfect way to use them! With a food processor or blender, this salsa is quick and easy to make, and the result is truly delicious. We love this salsa with tortilla chips, on tacos and burritos, or over an egg in the morning. With a little bit of a kick and the perfect balance of flavors, you’re going to want to try this recipe!
Fresh Garden Salsa
This Fresh Garden Salsa is amazing and surprisingly very easy to make! Enjoy with tortilla chips, tacos, or on top of an egg in the morning.
Ingredients
- 5-6 Roma Tomatoes or other paste tomatoes, quartered
- 7-8 San Marzano Tomatoes Substitute for 15 oz can of crushed San Marzano tomatoes if needed, quartered
- 1/2 Red Onion peeled & quartered
- 3 Garlic Cloves
- 3 Jalapeños seeds removed
- 1/2 cup Fresh Cilantro
- 3 tbsp Lime Juice fresh if possible
- 3 tsp Ground Cumin
- 1 1/2 tsp Salt
- 4 oz Mild Diced Green Chiles
Instructions
- Peel red onion
- Quarter tomatoes and onion
- Remove seeds from jalapeño
- Add all ingredients to a food processor and blend to desired consistency
- Enjoy! Salsa keeps in the fridge for 10-12 days or you can easily keep it in the freezer for up to 4 months.
