Slow Cooker Chicken Burrito Recipe

This is one of the yummiest, easiest recipes that always seems to make into our dinner rotation. Make dinner prep a breeze with this delicious, simple meal.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 2 cups of our fresh garden salsa or your salsa of choice!
  • 1 15 oz can black beans drained and rinsed
  • 1 4 oz can diced green chili peppers
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 6-8 flour tortillas
  • About 2 cups shredded cheese to melt on tortillas
  • Guacamole for garnish
  • Plain greek yogurt for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Place chicken breasts, salsa, black beans, green chilies, and garlic powder in a slow cooker and cook on high for 3-4 hours or low for 6-7 hours.
  • Once the chicken is cooked through and shreds easily with a fork, shred pieces fully and mix well.
  • In a pan, heat the tortillas, add some shredded cheese and heat until cheese is slightly melted.
  • Top with about 3/4 cups of shredded chicken, guacamole, and greek yogurt.
  • Fold & roll your burrito and enjoy!
