Four Ingredient Artisan Bread
This bread is AMAZING with the perfect crispy crust on the outside and a soft, warm inside. If you can put four ingredients into a bowl, stir, and allow to rise you can make this bread and you'll be so happy that you did!
Ingredients
- 3 cups flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp dry active yeast
- 1 3/4 cup warm water
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 450° F
- Add all ingredients to a bowl and mix until combined into a sticky dough.
- Rub a tiny bit of olive oil around in a larger bowl, transfer the dough into this large bowl, cover and allow to rise overnight. I prefer somewhere like your cold oven to avoid a draft that might effect your dough rising.
- Once dough has risen, flour a surface and dump out the dough with a sprinkle of flour on top as well.
- Shape dough into a ball – you don’t need to kneed the dough – and place on parchment paper into a baking dish with the lid on. We use our cast iron dutch oven & it’s perfect.
- Bake covered at 450 degrees for 30 minutes then remove the lid and bake another 25-30 minutes until the top is that beautiful golden brown.
- Allow to cool for 5-10 minutes and ENJOY 🤌🏼 Spread with some butter & flaky salt, dunk in soup, eat plain – it’s perfection.
