Spicy Buffalo Mac & Cheese with Honey Glazed BBQ Chicken Recipe
This Mac & Cheese and Glazed Chicken is next level good and a must try! Creamy, delicious, and packed with protein – this recipe is one of our all time favorites!
Ingredients
- 2 chicken breasts cut into cubes
- 3 cloves of garlic minced
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 2 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tsp olive oil
- 3 tbsp honey
- 1/4 cup BBQ sauce Stubb's Original is our favorite!
- About 2 cups uncooked large macaroni shells
- 1 cup milk
- 1/4 buffalo sauce or less depending on preference
- 4 oz cream cheese
- 1/3 cup cheddar cheese shredded
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the chicken in a skillet on medium high heat for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
- Turn off the heat for the chicken, add in the BBQ sauce & honey, and stir until chicken is fully coated.
- Cook your pasta as directed and while pasta is cooking, make the sauce for your mac & cheese by adding milk, Buffalo sauce, cream cheese, and cheddar cheese to a pot over low heat.
- As the sauce melts slightly, stir gently with a whisk until smooth and add in your cooked pasta. Stir to combine.
- Add mac & cheese to a bowl with the BBQ honey chicken on top and some fresh chopped parsley for garnish. Enjoy!
